Star Education Fair 2009

So yea. The last weekend has been spent working at the Star Education Fair that has been recently held at KL Convention Centre for 2 days. On Friday, a friend of mine who was from Hypertune gave me a call to ask if I was available to work for the event. Then I thought to myself.. what's Hypertune got to do with EDUCATION FAIR..?!?!?!

And then only I found out that TOC (The Otomotif College) has called them to be apart of the event as to promote and vice versa.

It's been a loooooong time since I last did any event jobs. And honestly, I was a little anxious. Enough of words, lets go for pics. (more pics in my Facebook)

The very-nicely-designed flyers of TOC to be given out.

Among all the other booth, TOC was a bright white and orange color with fantastic staff and students co-operating by wearing matching white and orange jumpsuits.

The Mini Cooper car was on display on the 1st day. They took it out on the 2nd day. But what was really the main attention was the A1 simulator (yes, I forgot to take a pic on that.. heh) which the crowd was lining up to take a drive in it.

Working on 2nd day was rather much more relaxing compared to the 1st.
And something caught my eye and I manage to take a pic of THAT without getting caught.
A really typical chinese man wore a clogged slippers and also widely known in malay as "terompah". With his wife standing by his side, they are really a matching couple wearing identical clogged slippers.
My highlight of the hour. =)

I was out for a smoke and when I was walking back to the booth and I was wondering what was all the commotion about. Yea. TOC's Ambassador, Andrew was there to give out autographs.
Andrew is also widely known as the 1st runner up for the Astro Talent Quest.
I managed to get hold of his autograph and took a pic with him.
So eventually I had something to blog on >.<

And this is.. ME..! and Li Ling on the right. Coincidently she's my friend's younger sis.! How small can the world get. She's superb. We practically clicked on the first hour of meeting each other.

Lastly, much love from the both of us and thanks to TOC for having us there!

See you next EDU FAIR..!

Boredom Work Day

After the yuletide Christmas and jolly New Years has passed, it has been a very quiet week at work. I'm very much anticipating the CNY crowd as most of the appointments are taken up one by one. The past 2 days has been extremely quiet so my colleague, Ee Ling has offered to paint my toenails and pamper me up abit. We were so bored, seriously, things we do in the shop is exceptional.

Best part of working in a "beauty salon" is that I can get my manicure and pedicure done whenever I want and for fucking no charges. Obviously. Most of you now know that I'm currently working as a manicurist at The Gardens, MidValley. So.. benefits? =)

Ee Ling offered to paint my toenails and I chose this. Gold base color with tiger-like black stripes and lots of gold glitter. Really. It looks better real life than in the pictures.

I didn't bring my cam so my Nokia has been taking all this lousy-ass pics. Do no justice.

After painting my toenails, I let it dry a little and went and get my leg WAXED! The pain is... bearable. I did bikini waxing as well.. but sorry, my ugly tummy ain't not gonna be shown in here. xD Now I have silky smooth legs and bikini line. Woot!

This is taken from the entrance. Yeh. This is where I work. Nice? Massage chairs and jacuzzi foot bath.
What more can a girl ask for.. a nice pampering session. =)

Last but not least. In the back room where we sit/sleep/eat/talk cock/sing song.

I look dam fucking nerdy with my glasses.

Mission : Accomplished!

Mission : My baby girl's first day of kindy school!

ACCOMPLISHED.!

I was as usual being paranoid and all. And was simply wondering to myself if she's gonna stick and clinged to me for dear life.

Answer is.. No. =)

She was alright at first when we got there till SOME KID decided to play the notorious. Yelling, kicking and screaming. Literally smacking the teachers face. xD I found it hilarious tho. Mainly caused the teacher was struggling and the kid had simply drained her from all form of energy. LoL.

Baby girl got a bit frightened. All I can say is, I'm really proud of her. She maintain cool only.

Then the school bell rang.

Assembly time! While she was lining up with the other kids according to their age, I started to laugh to myself. Gosh. She doesn't look like a 5 years old. Even the 4 years old kid are taller than her! LOL. Mini sial.

I was wondering what she was doing. Full concentration.

I'm waiting till she comes back. Hell lots of story to be heard later.

What can I say?

I'm a PROUD MUMMY.!
